The day you left my side,
I felt as though my heart had died,
Although it'll only be a few days,

Just the sound of your voice,
Makes me lose my cool calm poise,
When you left, I couldn't believe the sadness I felt,
With you around, my heart would melt,
Looking next to me, I saw an empty void,
